Christopher G. Law was born in Kyoto, Japan. He studied art history at Sarah Lawrence College for one year before going on to study painting at the New York Studio School in 2002, and completed his Masters in Fine Art with a specialization in artist’s anatomy at the New York Academy of Art in 2014. He has participated in several group shows in the New York area, including exhibitions at the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel, Chashama, Flowers Gallery, and the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild. From 2017 to 2019 he worked with the Alumni Association of the New York Academy of Art to help produce exhibitions and artistic opportunities for his alma mater’s growing network of emerging and under-recognized artists. He has worked professionally in art logistics and bookselling, and has held positions at Flowers Gallery, David LaChapelle Studio, and Bauman Rare Books. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
